After weathering the brutal winters of the Northeast, Celia moved “down south” with her husband and two kids in 2013. Having worked in residence life on college campuses, Celia has always been interested and passionate about building communities–what makes a place a home?, what are the unifiers?, how do we evolve to accommodate new generations, technologies, societal changes? Interacting with over 400 organizations and hundreds of volunteers, Celia is inspired by the spirit of Charlottesville. After hours, Celia provides a nonstop chauffeur service for her 5 and 7 year old. On her off days, her favorite thing to do is sip wine in any/all of the local vineyards.
