Kirby Farrell is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder, President & CEO of Locus Health. Locus Health provides comprehensive care coordination and health coaching services to health care providers leveraging its unique Patient Navigation & Digital Health Software Platform. Locus Health programs are currently in place in Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey & Delaware. The firm raised $4m in Q4 of 2015 – local investors include The University of Virginia Health System, Greg Allen, John Harris and Phil Wendell. Board members include Dr. Richard Shannon, EVP UVA Health System and Jim Haden former President of Martha Jefferson Hospital.
Prior to Locus Health, Kirby co-founded two other successful firms – Segovia Inc. – a satellite company eventually sold to Iridium, and Integrex a health care network integration firm sold to Daou Systems. He began his career as a management consultant for Coopers & Lybrand in New York. He grew up in Ohio and is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Kirby is an active supporter of the Cville Entrepreneurial environment – he was an original supporter of HackCvile and is an investor in Relay Foods, Moonlighting, Maternity Neighborhood and ArcheMedX.
