Sam Rosen

Sam is the founder and CEO of MakeSpace. He came up with the concept for MakeSpace after confronting the pains of traditional self-storage in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. In 2015, he was featured in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list (consumer tech). Prior to MakeSpace, Sam was Upfront Ventures’ first Entrepreneur in Residence. Sam joined Upfront after founding SpeakerGram, a previous endeavor from the inaugural 500Startups accelerator class. He received a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia (’07) and serves on the Board of Directors of the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation.
