Sukhinder Singh Cassidy is a leading technology executive and entrepreneur. She is currently founder and CEO of JOYUS, the leading online video entertainment network dedicated to shopping. Headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in Los Angeles and New York, JOYUS is funded by leading investors and media companies, including Accel Partners, Marker LLC, Time Warner Investments, and Disney’s Steamboat Ventures.
Cassidy has received a number of honors including being named one of Forbes (2014) “Power Women”, featured in the book, Good Leaders Learn: Lessons from Lifetimes of Leadership (2013), Named one of “The Silicon Valley 100” by Business Insider (2012), on Ad Age list of “Women to Watch” (2010), selected as TechFellow Awards’ first General Management Fellow in recognition of outstanding innovation in General Management (2009), Fortune’s “Tech’s next-gen leaders”, and featured on the cover of the annual Most Powerful Women Magazine edition (2008).

Prior to founding JOYUS in 2011, Cassidy was president of Asia Pacific and Latin America at Google, where she was responsible for all of Google’s sales operations in 18 countries. Sukhinder also oversaw the company’s local search and channel initiatives globally.
Before joining Google, Cassidy was CEO of Polyvore and Co-founder and Senior Vice President of business development of Yodlee, a leading solutions provider to the global financial services industry. From 1999 to 2003, Cassidy was responsible for building Yodlee’s client base and revenues, signing agreements with companies such as Citigroup, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Bank of America, Wachovia, Yahoo!, Microsoft, and AOL. In her earlier career, Cassidy worked in Silicon Valley on strategy and business development for leading e-commerce providers Amazon.com and Junglee Corporation, in New York and London with investment bank Merrill Lynch and pay television provider British Sky Broadcasting.
Cassidy is also founder of #choosepossibility and theBoardlist, launched in July 2015 and aimed at accelerating business performance globally through gender diversity. theBoardlist is a premium talent marketplace where business leaders come together to nominate and discover great female candidates for boards, starting with the technology industry.
In addition, Cassidy serves as a director of TripAdvisor Inc. and Ericsson and has previously served as a director of J.Crew Group and advisor to Twitter.
Sukhinder is a graduate of the Ivey School of Business Administration at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
