Daniel Willson is the founder and former director of The Pioneer, an online publication and student-led media education program for University of Virginia students. Willson also has served as the Innovation Program Lead for the Tom Tom Founders Festival for three years, where he has led planning and production of dozens of talks, competitions, and showcases featuring nationally-recognized artists and entrepreneurs.
Willson was also part of the founding team of HackCville, a student-led non-profit that reaches more than 2,000 students a year through its various entrepreneurship education programs. He now serves as an advisor to HackCville’s leadership. Willson will graduate the University of Virginia with a BA in Computer Science in 2016.
