Born in Marquette, MI, I grew up in Greece, Italy, Germany and Turkey.
I moved here in 2004 because my spouse is from Madison, VA. We wanted to be closer to family but didn’t want to live in Northern Virginia.
What is Charlottesville’s greatest untapped potential?
Information Technology. Software is truly disrupting many traditional markets and the opportunity to build a competitive offering nationally is very real in Charlottesville. We have a great place to live, rich history, resources including capital and mindshare and a great University to pull from.
